How to use HP photosmart printer with windows vista, 7?

I have a HP Photosmart 1115 printer and am running XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop, which I will soon upgrade to Win7. The printer doesn’t work with the laptop, because the driver is not supported by Vista and probably won’t be supported by 7. So currently I use the desktop for printing, but I plot to upgrade it to Win7, but I don’t want to have to buy a new printer. How do I keep using this ~5 year ancient printer which still works fine?
