Digital Picture Frame – Can You Live Without One?
Digital pictures have revolutionized the way we now capture our memories. No more fiddling around with film cartridges like we used to. It is now so much more convenient and cheaper to go into digital photography – so what are the ways we can view our digital images? A digital picture frame offers the ideal solution that is inexpensive and negates the need to print out every picture for viewing.
Anyone and everyone can use a digital photo frame. They are so simple to use – simply take the memory card from your camera and pop it into your frame. Your images will instantly be showed – how simple is that! The convenience of using such a portable device is that you will no longer have to view your digital photos around the PC. If you are going out and about visiting friends and family simply take the photo frame with you. There will be no need to worry if there will be a PC available to view your photos on.
It is very simple to set up your photo frame – show simply one picture or scroll through several – like a slide show. You may want it to show a single picture so you can show it on your desk or on a wall. When you get used to looking at the same picture then switch it to another one – this is a lot simpler than a traditional paper photo in a frame. You could even place the frame into random mode so the pattern is never the same twice.
Loading pictures into your photo frame could not be simpler. You can often plug in a USB flash drive or simply upload them from your PC via a USB cable. Or as mentioned, plug your memory card straight into the frame.
These devices are so much more affordable nowadays. Only a couple of years ago they would cost in the hundreds but today, there is a very large selection of makes and sizes under hundred dollars. Screen sizes range from 4 or 5 inches up to around 9 inches for entry level frames. If you want to pay a small more then you can go up to 15 inch screens.
Digital picture frames provide a vibrant, clear, crisp image which can be nearly professional quality for not so much money. Technology has improved vastly over recent years and prices have come down considerably. If you have a digital camera, then you must get a digital picture frame. They will save enormously on the cost of printing out photos as ink and paper is so expensive. It’s ok to print the odd one or two pictures but when you come back from vacation with a few hundred, it is not such a excellent thought.
