Can I import videos from a panasonic dvd camera to my computer?

i got a new panasonic dvd (video)camera. it made me install all of this software, but when i plug in my camera and open the movie editing software it gave me it wont import. i can't click on anything. can someone tell me how to do it or tell me if i cm place them om windows movie maker.

    Yes you can. Insert the dvd into the compter and copy the file.
